A message from co-founder Kyle Vann:

Welcome to Generosity Houston! Our desire is to build a community to transform our city through God’s generosity. Our first step is to grow our community by encouraging persons to attend a Journey of Generosity (JOG). These experiences have been very informative and transformative for those who have attended. Many people who attend later go on to host JOGs and some to facilitate these JOGs as their ministry.   Won’t you join us in this key movement?

As the Generosity Houston community grows, we will also provide teaching, lunches and seminars on topics such as 1) building a legacy of generosity in your family, 2) being strategic in your giving, and 3) creating affinity groups for persons interested in similar giving types (growth, church, poverty, justice, and more). These steps will come later after we have built our community to a critical mass.  Finally, we also want to create opportunities for our community to meet informally and routinely for encouragement and brainstorming.  We also hope to have an annual gathering to celebrate successes in this movement.

This is just the beginning and we hope to have this community grow into the thousands in a few years.  Houston is a special city and our people make it that way.  We look forward to you joining us in transforming Houston through God’s generosity.
